Nathan Benjamin, LEED AP
Principal + Founder
A staunch believer in the necessity and value of green building, Nathan Benjamin created PlanetReuse to take that ideal a step further. PlanetReuse is predicated on a simple but revolutionary idea: make it easy for designers, builders and owners to use reclaimed materials and you’ll keep those materials out of landfills. Nathan—who holds a degree in Architectural Engineering—has been a fixture in the construction industry for more than a decade, focusing on sustainable and LEED-certified projects. He is well known for his immense passion for sustainability, the arts and community involvement.

“I can’t let go of my Eagle Scout badge from my teenage years. What can I say? It was the Boy Scouts founder who said, ‘Try and leave this world a little better than you found it.’ That guides everything I do.”
Sustain
“Living and working sustainably means always reaching for the better way, the innovative approach. I feel that push every day, and it never fails to inspire me. Sustainability is an approach, not a scorecard.”
